Dear Parishioners,

My name is Fr. Rodlin Rodrigue, and I am honored and grateful to join the St. Brigid Parish family as your new Associate Pastor. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share a little about my journey.

I was born and raised in Hinche, Haiti, and am one of four children in my family, with two older sisters and a younger brother. In 2003, I came to the United States to begin my seminary formation. After initially studying with the Society of the Divine Word, I became a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Chicago and continued my studies at Saint Joseph College Seminary at Loyola University Chicago, where I earned a degree in Philosophy and Sociology in 2009. I then completed my theological studies at Mundelein Seminary and was ordained to the priesthood in May 2013 at Holy Name Cathedral.

Since my ordination, I have been blessed to serve in several parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago, including St. Benedict Parish in Chicago, St. Francis Xavier Parish in Wilmette, St. Joan of Arc Parish in Skokie, where I served as Administrator, and most recently St. Raymond de Peñafort Parish in Mount Prospect.

As I begin this new chapter of ministry at St. Brigid, I look forward to meeting you, praying with you, and accompanying you on your journey of faith. I am excited to become part of this parish community and to share in the mission of proclaiming the Gospel, serving those in need, and growing together in our relationship with Christ. Please know of my prayers for you, and I kindly ask for your prayers as I begin this new assignment. I look forward to getting to know you in the months and years ahead.

Pax et Bonum, Fr. Rodlin
