St. Brigid Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) Member Recruitment

St. Brigid Parish is establishing a Parish Pastoral Council (PPC). A core team of six parishioners already in place are looking for six additional members of our combined community to work collaboratively advising Fr. Wojciech and fostering the spiritual growth and pastoral life of our Parish.  Our goal is to have a Parish Pastoral Council that is both diverse and inclusive representing the many facets of our congregation.  As we move toward a stronger and more unified future, we are looking for innovative ideas and positive outlooks. 

Once selected, Parish Pastoral Council members will be asked to serve a 3-year term, attending meetings throughout the year (every 1-2 months).  If you know someone with a vision for our community - a neighbor, a friend or even yourself - who would make a good advocate for our parish, please complete the nomination form found in the narthex or at the bottom of this page or the Google form using the link below.  Paper forms may be placed in the collection baskets at Mass.  Nominees will be invited to an informational meeting to learn more about the council, the commitment involved, and the process of discerning new members.  Potential members will be notified of decisions in June with our new PPC in place by July 1, 2026. 

The deadline for nominations is May 10, 2026. 

Nominees should be: 

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Baptized, confirmed and registered members of St. Brigid Parish

  • Committed to prayer and growth in personal holiness

  • Knowledgeable of the mission of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church

  • Involved in parish life and at least one ministry at St. Brigid for at least one year

  • Willing to listen, speak honestly and to work together toward a consensus

  • Capable of thinking broadly and strategically

  • Able to inspire and empower others

  • Trustworthy, kind and compassionate
