Deacon Jeremy Carter

Deacon Jeremy Carter grew up in the parish and attended St. Patrick School (class of 1988).  He met his wife Denise when they went to Warren High School .  He attended UIC and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and then went to work in the family furniture store (Britt Carter & Co.).  Jeremy and Denise were married in 1996 and have 3 children: Michael, Matthew and Meghann.

Over the years, Jeremy and Denise have been involved in many of the wonderful ministries here at St. Pat’s and in 2004 they entered the Deacon Formation Program.  Jeremy was ordained a deacon by Cardinal George in May of 2009. 

He considers himself very blessed to serve God in the wonderful parish that St. Patrick’s is. He is a Bears fan, loves to camp, mountain hike, jog, and throw a football around.
